1. Location & Connectivity


Located just west of downtown, Liberty Village is bordered by King Street West, Strachan Avenue, and the Gardiner Expressway. It offers fast access to downtown by streetcar, bike, or GO Transit via Exhibition Station.

2. Neighbourhood History


Once an industrial district, Liberty Village transformed rapidly in the early 2000s into a master-planned residential community. Former factories were converted into lofts, preserving industrial character while adding modern density.


3. Housing Types


The area is predominantly condos and lofts, with some stacked condo town homes with very limited freehold housing. Units range from entry-level 1 bedroom condos to larger 2 and 3 bedroom condos or loft conversions. Most condo's range from $500,000 - $1,500,000 depending on size, the average sale per square feet ranges between $900 - $1200 a square foot depending on the building and style/location of the home.


4. Walkability & Lifestyle


Highly walkable, with restaurants, cafés, gyms, and grocery stores all within minutes. Proximity to Trinity Bellwoods Park and the waterfront trails adds outdoor appeal. BMO Field where Toronto FC plays in minutes away and the village restaurants and bars can get lively during game days or events. Also nearby are the historical Fort York district as well as quick access to the CNE grounds that have yearly events including the Canadian National Exhibition every August for 2 weeks.

Top Elementary: Queen Victoria Public School, Niagara Street Junior Public School


Top Secondary: Parkdale Collegiate Institute, Central Technical School


Potential Drawbacks: Traffic congestion, limited green space within the neighbourhood core, and fewer family-sized homes.
