High Park sits in Toronto’s west end, bordered by Bloor Street West to the north and Lake Ontario to the south. It offers direct subway access via Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth), making downtown reachable in 20 minutes. Major arteries include Bloor Street West, Parkside Drive, and quick access to the Gardiner Expressway.

2. Neighbourhood History


Established around Toronto’s largest public park, High Park has long been associated with nature, recreation, and prestigious early residential development. The area has preserved much of its historic housing stock, with tree-lined streets and grand early-20th-century homes.


3. Housing Types


Housing ranges from large detached or semi detached homes near the park to mid-rise condos and apartment buildings along Bloor Street West. The mix attracts both families and downsizers looking to remain in a walkable, transit-connected community. Many of the larger 3 - 4 bedroom homes will range in price between 1.5 Million - 2.5 Million, but it is possible to find some smaller 3 bedroom semis in and around the 1.5 Million range.


4. Walkability & Lifestyle


Daily errands can be done on foot, especially near Bloor West Village, known for bakeries, cafés, and European grocers. High Park itself is the neighbourhood’s crown jewel, offering trails, sports facilities, gardens, and year-round events.

Top Elementary: High Park Public School, Annette Street Junior and Senior Public School


Top Secondary: Humberside Collegiate Institute, Western Technical-Commercial School


Potential Drawbacks: Premium pricing near the park and limited new housing supply.
